NovaCalibra is the Novabase service for checking temperature probes by comparison with a reference instrument. We work at your premises, including on probes integrated into equipment, to help you maintain reliable process measurements.

From comparison to checking the reading.
Define the work
We agree on probes, operating conditions, temperature points and required documentation, including instruments installed in ovens, cold rooms and other production systems.
Compare measurements
We use a portable thermostatic oil bath and a precision primary reference thermometer with an Accredia calibration certificate. The service covers −35 °C to +165 °C.
Identify deviations
We take three measurements within this range to compare the probe reading with the reference thermometer. The points are defined for each job.
Adjust where possible
Where the instrument allows, we set offset and span to correct the reading. Adjustment is separate from calibration and depends on the system’s features.
Clear documentation for your requirements.
A certificate documenting the results is issued after calibration. The reference instrument’s certificate does not automatically make the service performed by Novabase accredited.
If Accredia-accredited calibration is required, Novabase can arrange it with a calibration laboratory. Scope, procedures and documentation must be agreed when requesting the service.
